Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) meets with the Ambassador of the Lao PDR to Thailand

On 24 November 2025, Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), welcomed H.E. Mr. Sisavath Inphachanh, who has been newly appointed as the Ambassador of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to Thailand.

Both sides reaffirmed their support for advancing Thai – Lao development cooperation under the Three-Year Thai –Lao Development Cooperation Program, as well as for implementing activities to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Thai – Lao diplomatic relations, such as the construction of the Thai – Lao Friendship Social Center and the establishment of a Learning Center for Sustainable Agricultural Development based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP) at the Bolikhamsai Technical–Vocational School, and for arranging activities under the Thai – Lao development cooperation framework on the occasion of the Opening Ceremony of the 5th Thai – Lao Friendship Bridge between Bueng Kan Province and Khwaeng Bolikhamsai on 25 December 2025.

The Ambassador expressed appreciation to the Royal Thai Government and TICA for their continued support for the Lao Government in advancing development cooperation for more than 35 years, which has had a significant impact on the sustainable development of the Lao PDR.
