Director-General of International Organizations Department meets with UNICEF Thailand Country Representative

On 19 January 2026, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, had a meeting with Mr. Ken Legins, United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Representative for Thailand, on the occasion of Mr. Legins’ presentation of theletter of credence to officially assume his duty in Thailand.

Both sides discussed Thailand - UNICEF cooperation, including UNICEF’s organizational restructuring plan and the drafting of the Country Programme Document (CPD) for 2027 - 2031. The Director-General reaffirmed Thailand’s full support for UNICEF’s work in promoting and protecting children’s rights.
