On December 18, 2024, H.E. Mr. Park Yongmin, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea (ROK) to the Kingdom of Thailand called on Mr. Piyapak Sricharoen, Director-General of the Department of East Asian Affairs, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ambassador Park updated the Thai side on the latest political developments in the ROK. Director-General Piyapak in turn expressed appreciation for the updates, and, as a close friend of the ROK, conveyed Thailand’s full confidence in the ROK’s resilience to overcome the current political situation, while expressing Thailand’s commitment to strengthen the bilateral Strategic Partnership across multiple areas which has benefited the people of both countries.
