On 9 February 2023, H.E. General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of Thailand, delivered an initial humanitarian contribution of 5,000,000 Baht (approximately 150,000 USD) from the Royal Thai Government to the Government of Türkiye, through H.E. Mrs. Serap Ersoy, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Thailand, at the Government House. The assistance aimed to support the Turkish relief efforts for those affected by the devastating earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş Province and neighbouring areas in southern Türkiye and to express Thailand’s solidarity with Türkiye through this difficult time.
