Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs had a bilateral meeting with Ms. Samantha Power, Administrator of US Agency for International Development, discussed COVID-19 vaccine cooperation and development cooperation in the Mekong Subregion.

On 28 September 2021 H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs had a bilateral meeting with Ms. Samantha Power, Administrator of US Agency for International Development, at the Thai Ambassador’s Residence during his visit to Washington, D.C.

Both sides discussed COVID-19 vaccine cooperation, including exploring possible cooperation to enhance vaccine production capacity. In addition, both sides discussed promoting development cooperation in the Mekong Subregion as well as exchanged views on the situation in Myanmar and providing of humanitarian assistance to Myanmar people.
