On 19 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, joined H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister, in witnessing the signing of the Letter of Intent between the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) for furthering scientific cooperation during the official visit to the Commonwealth of Australia in Canberra.
The Deputy Prime Minister joined in attending the briefing on CSIRO’s missions before witnessing the signing of the Letter of Intent, which aims to strengthen joint research activities in the fields of science and innovation, promote the exchange of information and knowledge, as well as explore other areas of mutual interest and potential to advance tangible cooperation between Thailand and Australia.
