On 5 February 2024, His Excellency Mr. Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a courtesy call by His Excellency Mr. Rachmat Budiman, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Thailand.

Both sides had a follow-up discussion on issues discussed during the bilateral meeting between the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia on the sidelines of the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Retreat (AMM Retreat) in Luang Prabang, Lao PDR., particularly Thailand’s humanitarian initiative to help the people of Myanmar and other bilateral issues.
