Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs witnesses the signing of MoUs to foster cooperation with Luxembourg

On 27 November 2025, Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, witnessed the signing of two MOU’s to foster cooperation with Luxembourg.
 
Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, and H.E. Mr. Patrick Hemmer, Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to the Kingdom of Thailand, signed the Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of a Bilateral Consultations Mechanism between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. This MoU will play an important role in strengthening diplomatic relations and driving cooperation across multiple dimensions, leading to beneficial policy dialogue and concrete collaborative results.
 
Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), and Mr. Robert de Waha, Regional Representative for Laos, Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency (Lux-Development S.A.), also signed the Memorandum of Understanding between TICA and Lux-Development S.A. on Development Cooperation in the Lao PDR. This MoU aims to provide development assistance to the Lao PDR, especially in the sectors of public health, rural development, vocational education, and technical-skills training.
