On 20 September 2026, H.E. Mr. Arthayudh Srisamoot, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with H.E. Mr. Nawaf Abdullatif Sulaiman Al-Ahmad, Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs of the State of Kuwait, accompanied by H.E. Mr. Songchai Chaipatiyut, Ambassador of Thailand to the State of Kuwait, and Ms. Pornpimol Sugandhavanija, Deputy-Director General of the Department of International Economic Affairs.

Both sides discussed cooperation in driving the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) into becoming a strategic pan-Asia platform, responsive to the shifting geopolitical dynamics.
