On 10 November 2025, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs, delivered a speech at the annual meeting of the Hong Kong – Thailand Business Council. The event was attended by approximately 90 Hong Kong-based businessmen, who are involved in business related to Thailand, as well as individuals who hold a keen interest in Thailand.

The Foreign Minister discussed the current government's foreign policy and economic policies "quick big win" and urgent issues, which the Thai government is currently addressing to resolve economic challenges and enhance Thailand's role on the international stage. In addition, he presented approaches to promoting cooperation between Thailand and Hong Kong in areas that would mutually enhance both parties' potential, such as food security, tourism. He also mentioned the importance of connectivity between Thailand and Hong Kong, as well as between Hong Kong and ASEAN, in order to handle geopolitical and global economic challenges, which earned significant interest from the participants.
