On 15 February 2024, H.E. General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, and H.E. Mrs. Linda Hurley, his spouse, paid homage to His Holiness Somdet Phra Ariyavongsagatayana, the Supreme Patriarch of Thailand, at Wat Ratchabophit Sathitmahasimaram Ratchaworawihan. This special visit marks an opportunity for the Governor-General and his spouse to learn more about Buddhism. The visit also reflects the good relations between Thailand and the Commonwealth of Australia in every level and dimension.
