On 28 October 2021, H.E. Mr. Nathapol Khantahiran, Ambassador of Thailand to the State of Qatar, and Mr. Abdulla Ibrahim al Suwaidi, Chariman of Elite Paper Recycling (EPR), signed the Partnership Declaration on Environmental Sustainability and Recycling under Green Diplomacy Program at the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha. The purpose of the partnership is to preserve the environment by reducing paper waste through recycling and raise awareness among the public on environmental conservation. The Green Diplomacy Program have been expanded to include several embassies in Qatar. The initiative is part of Qatar's long-term commitment toward sustainability in line with the Qatar's National Vision 2030.
