The Royal Thai Embassy participated in the 40th Diplomatic Bazaar organized by the Association of Families of Portuguese Diplomats (AFDP) from 14–15 November at the Centro de Congressos de Lisboa. This year’s edition, the Embassy showcased a variety of high-quality Thai products, including traditional Thai handicrafts and artisanship such as silverware and Thai handwoven textiles. Various Embassies and international organizations also took part in the event.

On 14 November 2025 H.E. Mr. Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, President of the Republic of Portugal, graciously visited the booths, including the booth of the Royal Thai Embassy, where he was welcomed by H.E. Mrs. Kanokwan Pengsuwan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Portugal.

This year’s highlight of the Embassy’s booth is Thai craftsmanship – silver collection including necklaces, earrings, hairpins, bracelets and silver handbags and clutch—as well as handwoven fabrics from different regions of Thailand. The Embassy also offered a variety of Thai food items for sale, including ready-made curry pastes, snacks, fruit juices, as well as delicious mango sticky rice and curry puffs. Thai handicrafts and food products received positive feedback from visitors. All proceeds from the sales will be donated to AFDP for further contribution to charitable organization.
