On 27 February 2025, Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, and H.E. Mr. Foivos Georgios Angeletos, Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to Thailand, jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the Establishment of Bilateral Consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, witnessed by H.E. Mr. Dusit Manapan, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

This MoU serves as an important bilateral mechanism for enhancing bilateral cooperation and fostering diplomatic consultations between the two ministries, reinforcing their dynamic relationship across various aspects which will lead to the exchange of valuable policy perspectives and the promotion of cooperation across various fields. This MoU underscores also the commitment of both countries to advancing diplomatic ties and fostering a relationship characterised by enduring friendship, mutual respect, and meaningful cooperation.
