On 11 December 2025, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, attended the official Opening Ceremony of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Kingdom of Thailand, held at The Athenee Tower. The ceremony presided over by H.E. Mr. Elnur Mammadov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The Vice Minister delivered remarks expressing congratulations on the official opening of the Embassy. The Thai side welcomed the positive momentum in the bilateral relations between the two countries and reaffirmed its support for the Embassy’s operations, with a view to further strengthening Thailand - Azerbaijan relations in a multifaceted, sustained and constructive manner.
