On 16 November 2023, H.E. Mr. Srettha Thavisin, Prime Minister of Thailand, had a meeting with US-APEC Business Coalition, comprising of US-ASEAN Business Council, US Chamber of Commerce and NCAPEC. Nearly 50 senior executives from prominent U.S. companies, such as Boeing, Amazon, FedEx, Pfizer, Visa, Citi, Airbnb, Delta Airlines, among others, attended the meeting.
The Prime Minister reiterated that Thailand is open for business by promoting transparency, ease of doing business, among others. The Government is leveraging tourism to reboot the economic growth and drive pro-innovation measures. BOI has a wide range of investment incentives and ready to work with US companies.
US companies have expressed interest in expanding their businesses in Thailand in areas such as healthcare, medicine, digital payment, and tourism.
