On 21 July 2026, H.E. Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, and H.E. Mr. Artur Harazim, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, co-chaired the 3rd Thailand - Poland Political Consultations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. The meeting was also attended by representatives from the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, and the Department of Livestock Development.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations, built over five decades, through the upcoming visit of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland and the convening of the 1st Thailand-Poland Strategic Dialogue. The discussions covered a broad range of bilateral issues, including cooperation in defence, agriculture, tourism, education, digital infrastructure, technology and innovation. Both sides also explored opportunities to expand trade and investment, exchanged views on the ongoing Thailand–EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations, and discussed cooperation in international organisations, including Thailand's candidatures to international organisations and its accession to the OECD. They also welcomed the resumption of direct flights between Bangkok and Warsaw by LOT Polish Airlines, scheduled to commence in October 2026, which will further enhance connectivity and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.

On this occasion, the Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs hosted a working lunch for the Polish delegation. The discussions also covered regional and global issues, including developments in the Thailand–Cambodia border situation, the situation in Myanmar, developments in ASEAN, the Middle East, the Indo-Pacific, and the situation in Ukraine.
