On 22 May 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest, together with Wat Thai Rattanaprateep, Budapest, organised a religious ceremony on the occasion of Visakha Bucha Day. The ceremony was chaired by Phramaha Sanon Khandhahaviriyo. Ambassador Phrommes Bhaholpolbhayuhasena presided over the ceremony, as lay chairman. The event’s activities included the religious ceremony, the food-offering to the monk, and the candlelight procession.
