On 13 June 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest organised a cultural event to promote Thai soft power at the Thai Residence, hosted by Mrs. Vanida Bhaholpolbhayuhasena, the spouse of Ambassador of Thailand to Hungary, on behalf of the Embassy. The activities included cooking demonstration and workshop of Papaya Salad and Instant Noodle Spicy Salad, traditional Thai dance, and Thai massage. Around 30 guests from Diplomatic Spouses of Budapest (DSB), spouses of executives of foreign companies in Hungary, and Hungarian female officials from the Hungarian government sector attended this event, which provided opportunity to closely experience Thai culture and Thai cuisine, leaving them a strong impression.
