On 21 October 2022, H.E. Ms. Busadee Santipitaks, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, presided over a ceremony to commemorate the passing of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn, or King Rama V, which included wreath laying, at Sala Thai Function Hall, Royal Thai Embassy, Canberra. Heads of Team Thailand Agencies represented in Canberra, including officials and their spouses were also in attendance.
