On January 11th, 2023, the Royal Thai Consulate-General, together with the Consulate-General of Indonesia, Korea, and Japan in Chicago, co-organized a Farewell Dinner to Hon. Jesse White, Illinois Secretary of State, for his retirement at the Thai Consulate-General.

On this occasion, Consul General Pisanu Sobhon welcomed Consul-Generals, the consulate’s officers, and expressed gratitude to Hon. Jesse White, before jointly having the national cuisine and performances, namely folk music from Northeast Thailand by Prof. Chamni Sripraram, Merak (Peacock) Dance by the Indonesian Consulate Dance Troupe, and a vocal performance by Ms. Yesoe Yoon, a Korean singer.
