On 5 February 2021 , Mr. Jirajett Wongnorraset , Counsellor of the Royal Thai Embassy in Dakar, attended the opening session of the first Muay Thai boxing club in Dakar, officially called the “Fight Club DaKar, Centre d’ensignement de la Boxe Thailandaise - Muay Thai)”.  The club is located inside the Middle school le Bilingue in Ngor district.  The first free trial session on the opening day was joined by 45 interested participants with over 1,000 people registering for Muay Thai training at the club in its next sessions. The “Fight club” is the first Muay Thai boxing place dedicated to the tranining of the  Thai Boxing, which has become popular sports and martial arts among the Senegalese and foreigners in Dakar.
