The Royal Thai Embassy in Doha organised the wreath-laying ceremony on the occasion of the Memorial Day of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great 13 October 2022. H.E. Mr. Nathapol Khantahiran, Ambassador of Thailand to the State of Qatar, led the Royal Thai Embassy's government officials and spouses to join the wreath-laying and candle-lighting ceremony and stand in silence for 89 seconds in tribute to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great.

On this occasion, on 8 October 2022, the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha, in collaboration with Doha Environmental Actions Project (DEAP) Qatar, also organised a cleanup initiative at Singing Sand Dunes. More than 135 volunteers including Embassy's officials and staff, as well as the local and expatriate community in Qatar participated in the cleanup initiative.
