On 13 February 2022, H.E. Mr. Chairat Sirivat, Consul-General, together with Mr. Chaiwat Tamthai, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Dubai and the Middle East Office, Mr. Niti Vongvichasvadi, TAT Deputy Director, and an officer from the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Dubai, attended an opening ceremony of Gulfood 2022, the largest annual F&B Sourcing event in the world. The delegation was greeted by Mr. Panot Punyahotra, Director of Thai Trade Centre, Dubai Office, and Mr. Sirithep Tangsiri, Assistant Director, and met with 62 Thai entrepreneurs who showcase their products such as Thai Jasmine rice, canned tuna, canned fruits, beverages, seasonings and other kinds of Thai food products at the Thailand Pavilion.

Gulfood 2022 is held from 13-17 February 2022 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
