On 7 September 2022 at 18.00 hrs., H.E. Mr. Chairat Sirivat, Consul-General, hosted an exclusive “Thai Cocktail Reception,” presenting authentic Thai food from 4 regions of Thailand such as "Khao Soi" and “Namprik Ong” from the North, “Papaya Salad" and "Chicken Laab" from Northeastern, "Thai Rice Noodles in Curry" and “Fried Turmeric Fish” from the South, and "Chicken Basil Rice with Fried Egg" and “Pad Thai Roll” from the Central region, to over 20 food bloggers/social media influencers and media representatives in Dubai at his residence on the occasion of the Royal Thai Consulate-General’s Thai Food Festival 2022 project which aims to promote Thai food and Thai food products and ingredients that are easily accessible through retail stores and supermarkets across the United Arab Emirates.

 

This year’s Thai Food Festival is held under the theme of "Thai Goodness Festival" in partnership with the leading retail chain Choithrams. The “Thai Goodness Festival” will take place between 9-18 September 2022 at 10 participating Choithrams stores across Dubai and the Northern Emirates, offering special discounts of up to 25% on all Thai products. In addition to the special discounts, customers who visit the participating Choithrams stores, namely Bay Square, DEC Marina, Dubai Tower (Deira), Green Community, Manhattan Tower (JVC), Safa Park, The Greens, Umm Suqeim, Sharjah Marine and Fujairah during “Thai Goodness Festival,” will enjoy a live cooking of popular Thai dishes including Pad Kra Prao, Green Curry, Tom Yum and Khao Soi, Thai food products tasting and giveaways.
