On 24 September 2022, Team Thailand officials in the United Arab Emirates organized a monthly meeting in Umm Al Quwain, a small Emirate in the Northern part of the UAE covering an area of approximately 720 sq. km. which is equivalent to 1 per cent of the UAE's area. The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Dubai has responsibility over matters concerning Thai nationals and other related affairs in Umm Al Quwain.

 

On this occasion, Team Thailand officials met with representatives of the Thai community residing in Umm Al Quwain who are in Thai restaurant and Thai massage businesses. H.E. Mr. Chairat Sirivat, Consul-General represented Team Thailand Officials in giving dry food and other food items to the Thai representatives. In addition, there are approximately 20 Thai people residing in Umm Al Quwain.
