On 12 October 2022, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Dubai organized the merit making and food offering to the monks at Mahamevnawa Buddhist Monastery in Dubai to commemorate the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, 13 October 2022. The merit making and food offering were presided over by H.E. Mr. Chairat Sirivat, Consul General, together with his spouse. The event was attended by officials and staff of the Royal Thai Consulate-General and Team Thailand offices.

On the same day, Consul General presided over a ceremony in remembrance of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great at the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Dubai. The ceremony was attended by officials and staff of the Royal Thai Consulate-General and Team Thailand offices as well as the Thai community in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
