On 9 April 2024, Ms. Siriporn Tantipanyathep, Consul-General of Thailand in Kolkata met with executive members of Enterprising Knot of Travel and Tourism Associates of Odisha (EKTTA) and local travel agencies during her visit to Odisha. The two sides exchanged views on ways to promote Thai tourism in Odisha market that catered to specific groups such as family, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions), wedding, honeymooners, and first-time travelers. They also discussed about the need to promote new and previously unknown destinations in Thailand to entice repeater travelers to visit Thailand continuously.
