On 1 February 2022, Ambassador Sasirit Tangulrat presented credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Burundi to H.E. Mr.Evariste Ndayishimiye, President of the Republic of Burundi.

Ambassador Sasirit conveyed Thailand’s continued commitment to further promote bilateral relations and cooperation with Burundi in all areas, particularly public health.

The President of Burundi reiterated Burundi’s readiness to deepen bilateral relations with Thailand as Burundi is now aiming at more prosperous and stable future, thus open for more engagement with Thailand in all areas.
