On December 3, 2023, Ms. Somjai Taphaopong, Consul General in New York, presided over the ceremonies and reception commemorating the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, and Thailand’s Father’s Day held at Vajiradhammapadip Temple in Long Island, New York. The event was gratefully attended by officials, officers, and staff members of the Royal Thai Consulate General, Team Thailand agencies in New York, and Permanent Mission of Thailand to the United Nations, and also garnered warm attendance from members of the Thai community in New York State and nearby areas.
