On 17 March 2022, H.E. Ms. Vimolbajra Ruksakiati, Ambassador of Thailand to Norway attended the 40th Meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Oslo (ACO), the first ACO meeting for 2022, chaired by H.E. Mr. Le Hong Lam Ambassador of Vietnam to Norway at the Embassy of Vietnam in Oslo. The participants comprised of Ambassadors and representatives of ASEAN Embassies in Oslo, namely, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Vietnam.

 

At the meeting, the ACO members exchanged views regarding to the situation in each country and major regional situations and discussed ways to further promote cooperation between Norway and ASEAN including the ASEAN Roadshow in major cities in Norway. The ACO members also congratulated Mr. Enrico Trinidad Fos, Ambassador of the Philippines to Norway who recently assumed his position in Norway and took over the ACO Chairmanship from Vietnam at the conclusion of this meeting.
