On 8 February 2023, H.E. Ms. Rommanee Kananurak, Ambassador of Thailand to Italy together with the Embassy’s officials had a meeting with Mr. Giorgio Saccoccia, President of Italian Space Agency (ASI) and Mrs. Gabriella Arrigo, Head of International Affairs Directorate. The purpose of the meeting was to establish networking between the Embassy and ASI as well as to follow up on space cooperation that has been previously discussed by both sides. Both sides discussed future cooperation on space economy between Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (Public Organization) of Thailand or GISTDA and ASI. Moreover, Mrs. Gabriella informed the Thai side of the space training programme for ASEAN countries proposed by ASI which has currently been in preparation process.
