On 21 March 2023, Ambassador Witchu Vejjajiva visited the Gyeongsangbuk-do Culture & Tourism Organization (GCTO) during his visit to Gyeongsangbuk Province to meet with local agencies. On this occasion, Mr. Kim Seong-jo, President & CEO of GCTO welcomed the Ambassador, and gave an overview of Gyeongsangbuk-do’s strengths as a province with strong historical and cultural heritage, and also requested support for Gyeongju’s bid to be the host city for APEC 2025 in South Korea.
