On 21 March 2023, Mr. Kim Seong-hak, Vice Mayor of Gyeongju hosted a dinner for Ambassador Witchu Vejjajiva to welcome the Ambassador on his visit to Gyeongju. Both sides exchanged views on topics of mutual interest such as Gyeongju and Gyeongbuk’s history, the region’s tourism industry and new growth engines and economic policies, as well as Gyeongju’s administrative and governmental structure.
