Ambassador Presents his Letter of Credence to the President of the ROK

On 21 May 2024, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Korea, presented his Letter of Credence to H.E. Mr. Yoon Suk-Yeol, President of the ROK, at Presidential Office in Seoul.

In the Ambassador’s brief remarks with the President, he traced the beginning of Thailand-ROK special relations when Thailand was the first Asian nation to deploy troops in defence of the ROK during the Korean War.

Ambassador Tanee reiterated his commitment to strengthen relationship between the two nations in accordance with IGNITE Thailand vision and soft power policy of the Thai Government through the 3Ps Strategy of the Embassy by promoting trade and investment between Thailand and the ROK, improving consular services and protection, and exchanging best practices with the ROK on soft power promotion strategy.
