On 13 June 2024, His Excellency Mr. Hun Saroeun, Ambassador of Cambodia to Thailand, paid a courtesy call on Mrs. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs.

​Both sides were pleased with the excellent bilateral relations and the regular exchange of high-level visits between the two countries. They discussed preparations for the upcoming official visit to Cambodia by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand to further strengthen the ties between Thailand and Cambodia. They also discussed ways to advance strategic partnership in a broad range of areas, especially economic, connectivity and tourism cooperation, as well as cooperation to tackle transnational challenges like transboundary haze pollution and online scam criminal networks.
