​On 22 February 2024, H.E. Mrs. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Thailand, on behalf of H.E. Mr. Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, hosted a luncheon in honour of H.E. Mr. Wang Yubo, Governor of Yunnan Province, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

​On this occasion, both sides exchanged views to promote the Thailand-Yunan relations in various areas, including economic cooperation, trade and investment, connectivity, tourism, as well as people-to-people relations. Both sides also expressed readiness to support and look after the other side’s investors, tourists and residents in Thailand and Yunnan.

Mr. Wang is visiting Thailand between 21 - 24 February 2024. This is his first visit to Thailand and also Yunnan’s first high-level visit to Thailand after Covid-19.
