On 19 February 2026, Mrs. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, had a discussion with H.E. Mrs. Luisa Ragher, Ambassador of the European Union to Thailand, during a courtesy call on the occasion of her assumption of duty.
Both sides welcomed the continued progress of the Thailand - EU partnership, founded on shared values and common objectives, and agreed to further enhance the dynamism of cooperation and advance relations across all areas, including through the exchange of high-level visits. They also exchanged views on regional and international developments.
On 11 February 2026, H.E. Mrs. Luisa Ragher presented her Letters of Credence to His Majesty the King as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the European Union to Thailand. The Permanent Secretary expressed confidence that, under the Ambassador’s leadership, Thailand - EU relations will continue to be further enhanced and strengthened.
