On 18 November 2025, Ms. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, received a courtesy call by H.E. Datuk Wan Zaidi Bin Wan Abdullah, Ambassador of Malaysia to Thailand, on the occasion of his assumption of duty.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the close ties between Thailand and Malaysia and discussed ways to further enhance bilateral relations, as well as cooperation at regional and international levels. The Ambassador expressed appreciation to the Ministry for the latter’s support rendered to the Embassy and readiness for more exchanges of high-level visits in the near future. The Permanent Secretary also congratulated Malaysia on its successful ASEAN Chairmanship this year.
