On 2 July 2024, Mrs. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, received a courtesy call by His Excellency Mr. Abdulrahman Abdulaziz Alsuhaibani, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Thailand.

On this occasion, both sides expressed satisfaction on the close and dynamic relations between the two Kingdoms, especially the exchange of high-level visits from both public and private sectors, which have led to an increase in trade, investment and tourism between the two countries.

In addition, the Thai side expressed readiness to continue cooperating with Saudi Arabia to achieve tangible results for both countries in all dimensions through the mechanism of the Saudi-Thai Coordination Council (STCC), which Thailand is ready to host this year.
