On 28 January 2021, the Honorable Michael Heath, Chargé d’ Affaires, a.i., Embassy of the United States of America, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Thani Thongphakdi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Thailand. Both sides discussed ways to further enhance the long-standing relations and multi-faceted cooperation between Thailand and the United States under the new United States Administration. They discussed on the bilateral economic cooperation and joint efforts in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Both sides also exchanged views on key developments in the region.
