On 6 May 2026, Mrs. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, attended the Preparatory ASEAN Senior Officials’ Meeting (SOM) and the ASEAN Joint Senior Officials’ and Senior Economic Officials’ Meeting (ASEAN SOM-SEOM) at Shangri-La Mactan Hotel in Cebu, the Republic of the Philippines to prepare for the relevant Ministerial Meetings and the 48th ASEAN Summit, scheduled to follow on 7-8 May 2026.
