The GPN served as a mechanism for the legislative branches of OECD member countries and more than 90 invited countries to build cooperative networks and exchange experiences on the role of the legislature in OECD-related matters. This session focused on discussions on the global economic situation, energy trends, investment, inclusive growth, industrial and public fiscal policies, as well as the impact of demographic changes on economic growth and pension systems. Thailand’s OECD accession has been designated a national priority, and Thailand has set a target to become a member by 2028.
