Ambassador to the ROK Joins a Dialogue on ASEAN-ROK Relations in the 2025 Jeju Forum

On 29 May 2025, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, participated in a panel discussion, titled “Beyond Boundaries: Strengthening ASEAN-Korea Synergies under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership”, hosted by the ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) at the Jeju International Conference Centre during the 2025 Jeju Forum for Peace and Prosperity.

Ambassador Tanee emphasised Thailand’s priorities as Country Coordinator for ASEAN-ROK Dialogue Relations in order to strengthen cooperation in all areas, specifically on the digital transformation and cyber security, sustainable development and climate change, trade and investment, and the promotion of regional health resilience.

Ambassador also underscored his belief that the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP) between ASEAN and the ROK, as well as the dynamic bilateral relations between ASEAN member states and the ROK, would lead towards concrete and mutually-beneficial outcomes for both sides, and highlighted the means to strengthen people-to-people ties and foster sustainable positive perceptions between the two parties.
