2. To foster Thailand – ROK relations and friendship, particularly at the people-to-people level.
3. To strengthen the Thai community and support public-benefit activities in both Thailand and the ROK.

(3) Start-ups
(4) Energy

As an initial step, Ms. Malliga Peamsirimongkol (Wanda) has been appointed Acting Chairperson of the Thailand–Korea Business and Friendship Council. The Council plans to proceed with its formal registration and the drafting of its regulations or constitution, which will set out its organisational structure, roles, responsibilities, and operational framework.
The Ambassador provided advice and expressed his full readiness to support the Council’s initiatives and activities. He emphasised that the Council could serve as an important platform for connecting the business sectors, communities, and people of Thailand and the ROK, while creating greater opportunities for economic cooperation and investment and contributing to the continued strength and sustainable development of the Thai community in the ROK.
