CDA Bancha presides over Maha Songkran Day Ceremony and meets Thai community at Buddharama Temple, Cheonan City

On 9 June 2024, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Chargé d'affaires of the Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul, presided over the 2nd Maha Songkran Day ceremony, procession of Luang Pho Phra Sai and robe offering ceremony at Buddharama Temple, Cheonan City, Chungcheongnam Province. CDA Bancha offered food to the monks, participated in the procession of Luang Pho Phra Sai and in robe and alms offering for monks.

He conveyed the message to around 1,500 Thai nationals participating in this event about priority works of the Embassy, including improvement of consular services, specifically issuing more birth certificates daily to meet high demand of Thai nationals. CDA Bancha campaigned for Thais who had already booked appointments for birth certificates to come on the reserved date and time, as well as campaigned for Thais in the ROK to stay away from drugs. After that, CDA Bancha, together with other participants, sprinkled water on the Buddha statue and monks and received the blessing.
