Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul and Thai Community Organise Volunteer Activity to Make Sandalwood Flowers

On 11 September 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul, in collaboration with the Thai Women’s Council of the ROK and the Thai community in the ROK, organised a volunteer activity to craft sandalwood flowers at the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul, as a merit-making tribute to the late Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, in connection with the Royal Cremation Ceremony.
The activity brought together officials of the Royal Thai Embassy, members of the Thai Women’s Council of the ROK, and members of the Thai community, who joined hands in making the sandalwood flowers with care and dedication. The activity reflected the participants’ loyalty and profound gratitude for Her Majesty’s immeasurable contributions to the Thai people, while also demonstrating the unity and solidarity of the Thai community in the ROK.
