Thailand expresses its grave concern over the tensions between Israel and Iran. We urge both sides to exercise utmost restraint to prevent further deterioration of the situation and the expansion of conflict, which would inevitably affect innocent civilians.

We extend our condolences to the victims and their families. We further call on all parties to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure, and strive to resolve the situation through peaceful means, in accordance with international law, UN Charter and relevant UN resolutions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Thai Embassies in the region are closely monitoring developments and have coordinated with the relevant agencies on possible emergency assistance to Thai nationals in the affected areas. The Ministry has already activated the Rapid Response Center (RRC) to coordinate with the relevant agencies and all embassies to assist the Thai nationals in case of necessity. All Thai nationals are encouraged to stay alert and keep updated of the announcements, advice and safety guidelines from the Thai Embassies in the region, as well as to avoid non-essential travels to the area. In case of emergency, Thai nationals can contact the Embassies for any related assistance, or register through the Thai Consular application to access the latest information rapidly and in a timely manner.
