On 11 December 2025, Ms. Pittara Navarat, Minister-Counsellor, and Mr. Natouch Thammanuruk, Counsellor, welcomed a group of students from Föreningen Ekonomerna (F.E.St.), the Business Association of Stockholm University, consisting of undergraduate students from the university’s Business Administration program, at the Royal Thai Embassy.

They provided a briefing on the longstanding Thai–Swedish relations, which have spanned more than 157 years, and their recent elevation to a “Strategic Partnership” aimed at strengthening political ties and expanding cooperation in key mutual areas.

The briefing also covered the Embassy’s missions, activities, and major projects to advance bilateral relations and support the Thai community in Sweden; cooperation in trade and investment; and the Embassy’s economic initiatives carried out under the Thailand–Nordic Countries Innovation Unit (TNIU). These include the Scaleup Impact! program to support the development of Thai startups and a sustainable forestry project implemented in an integrated manner with relevant Thai and Swedish agencies.

In addition, representatives of the Embassy engaged in discussions with the students on various topics, such as career pathways in diplomacy and Thailand’s economic diplomacy among others.
