On 23 April 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Thailand Foundation jointly hold a press conference to call for nominations for Thailand’s Public Diplomacy Award 2025 (TPDA2025). The press conference was conducted by Mr. Nikorndej Balankura, Director-General of the Department of Information and the Ministry’s Spokesperson, and Ambassador Tharit Charungvat, Secretary-General of the Thailand Foundation.
 
The Public Diplomacy Award is a joint initiative by the Ministry and the Thailand Foundation to honor individuals, groups, or organizations, both Thai or foreign nationals, who have made a significant and visible contribution abroad in various fields promoting Thailand’s image in a creative, dignified, and honorable manner. For the 2025 awards, The Ministry and the Thailand Foundation will confer up to three TPDA2025 awards to individuals, groups, or organizations of Thai and/or foreign nationality. Each award consists of five elements: (1) permanent inscription of the recipient's name on the "Goodwill" trophy, displayed at the Ministry; (2) inscription of the recipient's name on a “Wall of Fame” at the Ministry; (3) a replica trophy bearing the recipient's name; (4) a certificate of recognition and; (5) cash prize of 300,000 baht.
 
The Award has now entered its fourth consecutive year and presented five awards, past recipients are as follows:
